Customer O from Osaka often travels to Shiga. With the memories, she ordered us a lantern with a scenery of a small Island Chikubushima floating in Lake Biwa and her poem "Seeing the ripples of Lake Biwa reminds me ancient people lives". She wished words written softly and a scene drawn gently like a watercolor painting, so we tried to express them with soft ripples and atmosphere of the lake.  This lantern have a candle-type LED light which flickers. 

When received a message from France, we surprised so much. He already had a logo he designed, and wanted to make a lantern of the logo put the front and back. In the process of making, we did our best to draw this pretty image as same as the actual one, and it was the hardest. After finishing, we shipped the lantern by international delivery service.

On the way home, Customer K looked at our shop lantern "Nami no ueno Hotaru" (see the page of lanterns for personal use). She ordered us a similar pattern lantern with her favorite flower. She widhed a flower of  iris or sweet flag. We designed three patterns of the flowers, and she selected above design of iris and lights like fireflies. We used Japanese paints to draw delicate color patterns. The painting patterns can be seen when through light, so we tried to draw at once as possible.
